Editing

I’ve got over 15 years of scientific editing experience.

For eight years I worked in-house at Nature Publishing Group (now Nature Research, part of Springer Nature) as an editor of the journal Nature Reviews Drug Discovery. Here I developmentally edited reviews to ensure the authors’ work contained high-impact content that was optimal for the Journal’s target audience.

I have developmentally edited primary research manuscripts for Nature Research Editing services, helping authors to make the most of their science. I currently work with several editing companies and I’m more than happy to work directly with authors.

As well as developmental editing, I offer English language editing services to authors whose first (or second) language is not English. This allows their science to shine through to editors, referees and readers.

When I was a researcher, I published in several journals, including Journal of Biological Chemistry, British Journal of Pharmacology, Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics and Life Sciences.
