I hold a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Leicester and have completed postdoctoral positions at the University of Michigan and Pfizer. I worked as an in-house editor at Springer Nature before going freelance. I’m a member of the British Association of Science Writers. I live in Canterbury, a small city with a big cathedral in the south-east corner of the UK.
